Objectives for 2001
For the past few months the Indiana Home Care Task Force has been developing its public policy agency for the coming fall and for the 2001 General Assembly. The Task Force legislative objectives for 2001 will include a dramatic increase in CHOICE funding, increased funding and capacity for existing medicaid waivers, addressing the critical shortage of home health care workers, and addressing the quality assurance needs of home care consumers. As in previous years, CAC will be a full participant in the Task Force and will work for the enactment of its legislative agenda at the State House.
