A damning new analysis by Citizens Action Coalition (CAC) exposes how Indiana’s monopoly utilities have imposed the most severe electric bill increases on residential customers in at least two decades — with some families paying nearly $50 more a month than just one year ago.

As a result of the settlement, I&M residential ratepayers will realize a far lower increase to monthly bills than what I&M wanted. Other numerous and significant terms were secured that bring great benefits to residential customers, including terms obtained specifically for low-income customers and vulnerable households.
