Despite claims of a cost "cap" for ratepayers, the settlement saddles ratepayers with billions in costs.
- January 10, 2013
The Indiana Utility Regulatory Commission (IURC) continues to do a grave disservice to the captive ratepayers of Duke Energy Indiana. After denying a motion by the coalition of consumer and environmental groups to stay the current proceeding regarding the scandal-ridden and problem-plagued Edwardsport IGCC powerplant until after testimony and evidence was filed in the settlement portion of the proceeding, the IURC gave the groups just 72 hours to file testimony in the case.
These are the issues of immediate importance we are working on right now.
