In June 2023, AES Indiana filed a new base rate case before the Indiana Utility Regulatory Commission (IURC). AES claims this case will result in a bill hike of $17.49/month, but according to our math, it will be a hike of $23+/month.

CenterPoint Electric wants another $454 million from customers

In May 2023, CenterPoint filed Cause Number 45894, asking the Indiana Utility Regulatory Commission (IURC) for another $454 million for their transmission & distribution system. If approved, CenterPoint’s request will result in a $14.68 monthly increase by 2028 for the average customer.
