CenterPoint is currently before the Indiana Utility Regulatory Commission (“IURC”) seeking permission to charge electric ratepayers at least $23 a month to pay for two new fossil gas-fired power plants, which would produce a combined 460 megawatts of electricity, and a new fossil gas pipeline to be built under the Ohio River from Kentucky to SW Indiana.
